Amethyst dragons are exceedingly wise, and have a tendency to mediate disputes, both between dragons and between humanoids. They are not great at flying, but are excellent at burrowing. They generally live in underground lairs. Adults have the power of invisibility, and will use it for ambushes when forced into combat. Their breath weapon is a blast of concussive force and, once a day, adult amethysts can spit a crystalline grenade.
